Getting life insurance with mental health conditions

Mental Health Awareness Week has begun and runs until 19th May 2024. Mental Health Awareness Week happens every year and is a great opportunity for the whole of UK to come together on good mental health.  Your mental health should never stop you from accessing life insurance cover, and here at Pulse Insurance, we know the importance of being able to access valuable family protection cover.

Pulse Insurance always puts clients first and ensure that they get the insurance they need.

For example, we recently offered terms to an ex-police officer. Due to his occupational trauma, he has a long history of mental health problems, which meant he was not able to access life insurance cover in the standard market. However, due to the fact he has a period of stability for two years, the Pulse team were able to provide him the cover he needed.

We’ve also been able to offer life insurance to a lady who had a long history of mental health issues. As she had received the appropriate help and support, she had been stable and compliant with her treatment plan – meaning that Pulse was able to step in to give her the cover that other insurers declined.

We’re here to ensure that your mental health is not a barrier to access the protection you need for your family. For more information, or to request a quotation, please contact [email protected] or call 01280 841430.
